Milan

Things we love:

The drinks; Aperol Spritzs/Negronis galore.
It’s the European home of fashion, little dogs, and design.
The Duomo is the second largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Fact.
The Navigli, interconnected canals throughout the city – it’s riverside restaurants and bars central.
The food. Eat everything.

Things we wish we’d known:

Hit aperitivo hour instead of supper. You get free food with your drinks and you’re not even considered cheap.
No one orders any other type of coffee except for espresso after 10am.
Taxis don’t just drive around the corner – you call them on your cellphone, honey.
