Perth

Things we love:

Perth boasts the largest inner city park in the world. As the sunniest capital in the world (average 8 hours per day), everyone is high on vitamin D. Back in 1962 residents turned on all their lights so they were visible by astronaut John Glenn from space hence being known as ‘the city of lights’. With an explosion of new venues over the last few years, Perth is rocking the small bar scene, New York Times agrees… just saying. They love a pop-up to keep us on our toes, from restaurants and farmers markets to cinemas.

Things we wish we’d known:

For Aussies, the big one is a Sunday arvo, totally chilled, under the sun. No heels required. A foreign driver’s license does not constitute sufficient ID, take your passport or learn the hard way.
