Portland

Things we love:

Portlanders love their local beer. 11% of all consumed is brewed within Oregon, more then any other state.

You can get legally married at Voo Doo Doughnuts.

They have a Vegan everything. Including a Vegan Strip Club.

Being only 80 miles from the coast means awesome fresh seafood.

Things we wish we’d known:

They have some amazing Happy Hours, but it’s illegal to advertise for them. Good thing there are loads of guides and apps available to clue you in.

There are also funny laws about the sale of booze requiring food as well. This results in awesome bar food and some terrible bar food.

Many places either close mega early on Sunday or don’t even open at all.

Forest Park is the largest urban park in the US.
