Bar 1887

BARCHICK SAYS

Everyone knows that partying in the Caribbean is about partying at a beach bar. Malibu, coconuts and itsy-bitsy bikinis, right? Wrong. Bar 1887 is the antithesis of the beach hut in every way, it doesn’t even have a view of the pink sands Crane Beach is famous for, but it’s legendary nonetheless.

Located on the South East coast of the island and we love it. We're not sure if it’s the warm, inviting atmosphere or the rum that makes BarChick never want to leave. Located in the heart of the Crane Village and styled out like a traditional Barbadian chattel house this is the perfect place to get over the guilt of maxing your plastic at the Crane’s notoriously shiny shopping village.

Once inside hardwood and polished stone reflect the resorts heritage. The best seats are at the bar, get chatted up by the guests and the hilarious, hot barstaff. Yeezus, this place is cool.
