The Devil's Advocate

BARCHICK SAYS

Look out for Advocate’s Close - sure it sounds a little Harry Potter-esq but what you'll find down it is so much naughtier. The Devil’s Advocate is the second offering from the guy behind Bon Vivant, and it’s safe to say he's smashed it (again). Bright and breezy, it's got big open doors, two floors of fun and cosy booths which are ideal for a quick snog (if ya lucky).

Whisky is what these guys will educate you in, sure they have Scotch but there're also a fair few other nationalities in residence too. Kick things off with a cocktail though, these guys do ‘em good. Looking for something long? Captains Quarters is made with Havana 7, rhubarb syrup, burnt orange, malic acid solution, lime and soda. Something short? Go for the Trapped in Cabinets made with Illegal Mezcal Joven, thyme & caraway salt, Aperol, grapefruit juice and lime juice. Or something different? They'll knock you up whatever you want.

Peckish? Do it. The food is bang on and we’ll never doubt a Black Haggis Bonbon again...
