Café Pacifico

BARCHICK SAYS

The OG of the Mexican bar scene in London is still thriving

The legendary Tomas Estes - founder of the awesome Tequila Ocho brand - opened this Covent Garden joint way back in 1982, and it is still as true to its roots as it can get in terms of the décor, wooden tables, music and vibes - oh, and of course the tequila.

With hundreds of agave spirits on offer, it’s safe to say the Margaritas are gonna be show-stopping. Have them any way you want, or dabble with the other cocktails on offer. If you know your sh*t or want to show off, then get involved with the Cuervo Coleccion 1800, which clocks in around £150. But don’t worry, you’ll have something to show for your money: your name will be whacked on the plaques above the bar - now you ARE a pro, congrats.

Not that much of a baller? At lunch, you can get £3.75 Ocho Margaritas. Equally as awesome. Peckish? Tuck into their food menu, with awesome tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and loads more.
