The sort of cocktail factory a boozy Willy Wonka would be proud of, the Craft Cocktail Company brightens up the backstreets of Bethnal Green with bottles of brilliance. From the same crew that brought us the London Cocktail Club chain, expect fresh produce, natural ingredients and some serious taste sensations.

Making use of the arches on Paradise Row, this warehouse style space is as airy as they come. It’s all wooden crates, glass bottles and chunky metalwork with a mezzanine level devoted to watching the magic happen. By magic we mean all of the blending, carbonating and bottling of the booze that goes on backstage, seriously, it’s a full blown lab back there. Industrial sized shelves and fridges behind the bar are filled with technicolor cocktails ready to be bought by the bottle or by the glass.

Service is speedy because the difficult bit has already been done, but don’t think that this detracts from the quality, because it totally doesn’t. We drank the Geisha (Craft in-house Gin, rose water, hand-pressed lemon juice, lychee and a hint of raspberry). With everything, even the classics available to take-away from the adjoining off licence, you’ll be the most loved person at the after party when you rock up with these ballin bags of swag.
