With Caravan as a neighbour this part of town behind Kings Cross is kicking off. The second restaurant from Bruno Loubet is combined with another banging bar from Tony C  - and as expected this place is good...well good.They describe say the decor is like an "exploding kitchen" and they're bang on; oversized chopping board tables, tons of jars filled with pickled this 'n that with fur lined lined walls for cosy time.

Clean cut, spacious and with different spaces for different kinda parties we headed straight to the bar to get stuck into the cocktails. Tony and the team have knocked up some pretty special things; Tony's Greco Roman Wines have been infused with herbs or smoked- seriously innovative, they go down very easy and we're down with it.

Want cocktails?  there's the Date Kir (date liquor, Champagne) and the Tuberose Collins (Beefeater gin, fresh lemon, tuberose syrup, soda)  or take it easy with the non alcoholic French Blonde (grape juice, elderflower cordial, lemongrass, verjus). Get your maths on and match the numbers on the cocktail list with the food menu. Hang out with the hot scarf wearing staff, stay longer than you intended and order more than you can handle. There's a terrace, an aperitif trolley, and then some. So what you waiting for?
