The team behind Crate Brewery and Berber & Q have joined forces, taken over a former mechanics' garage in Queen's Yard and transformed it into a roastery/Middle Eastern smokehouse/fermented tea bar.

Sip on sparkling kombucha and eat maple-glazed merguez sausages and smoked chicken shawarma on 'mess-hall' trestle tables in an Israeli-inspired rusty corrugated metal shack in Hackney Wick. Look for the giant roller shutter, listen for the live music and once inside, snag the first chesterfield you see.
