If you want a good night out you can’t go wrong with a Mexican - whether you are eating, drinking or wearing nothing but a sombrero, you are always left smiling.  What’s not to like when you have a bottle of tequila on the table, or in Azulito’s case over 69. Welcome to heaven, officially home of the biggest 100% Agave tequila collection in the UK, and also part of Wahaca, so the food is pretty awesome.

On arrival at Wahaca, head downstairs, why waste time in the restaurant when you can eat at the bar? On entry you might feel as though you’ve entered a kitsch garden party with all its brightly coloured 'objets', garden furniture and wacky ceilings. Get there before the rush and bag a seat on the swinging chairs: hours of fun. Don’t come in here expecting lemon, salt and frat party styles, these guys encourage you to sip your tequila.  Follow with a 65p Sangrita, or stick it in a Margarita - which come in all colours and flavours. BarChick loved the hibiscus, passion fruit, and tamarind, although sometimes all you want is a classic and these guys make em good. Oh and beware the caged bottles, that's the good sh*t; which the boys will happily talk you through (just remember you need to get back up those stairs).

If the tequila isn’t making you happy yet then the colour scheme will, it’s as if a crayon box has thrown up over the walls, in a good way. A couple of table footballs are to the left, good for some flirting with the date, and a classic for that competitive collegue. Not sure what you fancy for food?
