If you happen to be sporting a mullet you’ll fit right in, if you aren’t, what the heck you’ll fit in anyway. It seems Hanway Street has got a few tricks up its sleeve, and this is definitely one of them. Head down the suspect looking staircase and you’ll find a den of debauchery which consists of a small room, a few half-hearted attempts at decoration, an unimpressive bar and people throwing about shapes and drinks over others.

What you see is what you get: beers in the fridge, spirits on the shelves. Cocktails? Get the hell back up those stairs. Grab a beer from the mulleted barmen, shoot a shot and grab a dance partner. The music here is old school, and the DJ (also mulletted, of course) mixes using an old school phone instead of headphones… with tunes like this he can put us on hold anytime.

Dance, drink, make new friends. Want to move this new friendship up a notch? Then lead them to the back seating area for some play. Oh and when we say this place is small, we mean it. Don’t be fooled by the ‘other bar’, BarChick’s date didn’t recognise his own reflection… nothing a few more neon shots didn’t fix.
