This place is legendary, literally. Everyone from Hendrix to the Rolling Stones has recorded here, and after a hotly anticipated restoration last year we could finally welcome back Olympic Studios. Tucked away in a quiet corner of London, the studios house a bar and restaurant, a super-plush and state of the art cinema, and not to mention a swanky members' bar.

The Café & Dining Room accommodates from morning till night with a quintessential all-day dining style interior and service through from breakfast to dinner (NB: the food here is mega). The windows, half frosted and positioned above street level, provide a two-way mirror effect and an element of privacy, while the furnishings are both casual and refined: picnic table style dining, mosaic-like flooring, hanging industrial lights and eloquent touches of turquoise here and there.

The bar isn’t much of a feature, but don’t let that fool you – the cocktails are where it is at and it’s become somewhat of a local drinking den because of it. The Midnight Reviver (Camomille gin, Cointeau, Lillet Blanc, lime juice and smoke absinthe) and the Jasmin Sour (Jasmin vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white) come strongly recommended, and their list of classics and house faves will satisfy any thirst.

If like BarChick you manage to blag your way upstairs to the members’ bar you’ll reap all the benefits of the food and booze from downstairs, but in a slick space with New York loft kinda vibes and a super sexy bar… time to get on that waiting list.
