The dudes at Café Stella have taken things up a notch by adding a damn fine cocktail bar to their gang. This den is all over exposed brick, low hanging bulbs and leather furniture – understated. Oh, with a few casual seashells and toucans thrown in for good measure.

The bar is full of suave looking creative types, we’re gonna guess media industry (kinda comes with the eastside Silverlake location). Hot guys, girls looking smokin’ – hang about for long enough and it’s almost guaranteed you’ll get lucky.

In the meantime the white jacketed chaps behind the bar are the ones to watch. Ask ‘em and they’ll suggest you go for Sophia – a smokey mix of Del Meguey Vida mescal, Campari, agave and fresh lime juice. Listen to them, they’ve got it nailed.

Hungry? Lucky for you Café Stella, one of LA’s fave foodie spots, is in the next room. Who said you can’t have it all?
