BARCHICK SAYS

Get low at this funked out tiki bar located on the edge of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, of all places. Wooden steps lead the way to a tropical Hawaiian paradise and there’s barely a hipster in sight, leave your beanie at home and you’ll still fit right in.

Beach hut in style; palm trees, live fish, tiki artifacts and bucket loads of rum make it feel like the sun’s shining even if it’s raining outside. The signature cocktail is a Zombie but if you fancy something lighter check out the Fiji Fizz (rum, mango, vanilla liqueur and Ting). The bar staff here are bang into their tiki fun, get down here for cheap thrills… the boys are usually topless and it’s a look we’re into.

Compared to other tiki joints in town these guys are all about the music, man; with a DJ booth and everything, catch hot lads jamming out from Wednesday to Saturday. BarChick chicken limbo’d to XFM’s Gareth Brooks who took it upon himself to play some serious old-school hip-hop, R&B & disco, hello mama.
