From the same guys behind one of Milan’s coolest and most secretive cocktail bars, Mag Café is one of the canal’s best hangouts. Inside it’s all chilled café vibes with odd seats and chairs, but what makes this place banging is the big-ass oak back bar and its insane collection of booze. Possibly even more than BarChick can handle… nah.

Their cocktail menu is short and specific but these guys know their stuff, so go for whatever you feel like. We went for their "cocktail of the month" which, when we were there was a Dark and Stormy and followed by the Japanese Poet with sake and a red vermouth reduction. If you’re peckish then they’ve got toasties and if it’s sunny then you’ll wanna grab a table outside to watch the canal and its world go by.

The crowd is cool, the backroom is cosy and best for kissing in and just mind your step on the way to the bathroom...
