So Berry Park is a massive beer barn with over 14 brews on tap, flat screens, a projector for sports and DJs at the weekends. So far, so yawn. Wait for it. Head upstairs and just check out that roof. This is one of the best roof top bars in Williamsburg.

Located off McCarren Park in Greenpoint, there are stunning views across the city. Grab a table under an umbrella, get a round in of the mainly Belgian and German beers and soak up the sunset. The weekends can get a little polo shirt heavy, but the view makes up for it, as do the staff, who are super sweet and mega easy on the eyes.

Normally the menu is German influenced (read wurst), but they also do a pretty mean brunch every freaking day (a rarity in these parts), so if the sun is out, you know where BarChick will be sipping on grown up Slurpees. We were blown away by the Arnold Palmer with peach iced tea and bourbon. Perfect for a hot New York day.
