Le Garde Robe

BARCHICK SAYS

Now with two locations, Barchick visited the original which is located just off the Rue de Rivoli and in a good area for high street stores. While we wouldn’t necessarily call Le Garde Robe a destination bar, we can definitely recommend it as a place to rest your feet and grab a glass of wine after a day hitting the shops and maxing out your credit card!!

It’s a small, cosy, wine bar that offers everything you expect from a French Bistrot, a handpicked selection of reds, whites and Champagne classified by region and a nice selection of bites to eat. It has a typically French atmosphere, think local regulars and tourists blending into the “ décor “ of stone walls and wooden floor.
You can make your own choice of bottle from their shop or ask one of the Waitresses to help you chose your weapon. It should be noted that to drink at Le Garde Robe you also need to eat , though you can share a naughty but oh so good charcuterie or cheese plate from 13€ .

Service is Parisien, prompt and to the point…just the way we like it when we are in urgent need of vino!
