This is one seriously inviting hangout, you can come hang here pretty much any time of day for eating, drinking or simply soaking up the Pigneto scene. It’s been going since 1924, in one guise or another, so its got great roots.

Current owners have given it a retro refurb with art deco touches paying homage to its first incarnation as a bar. The interiors have a cool and clean design, though it’s all about the wraparound terrace, studded with pot plants and glowing globe lights, which makes us feel right at home. It attracts Pigneto’s more elegant and arty crowd and foreigners can often be seen here too.

The food is excellent, and it has a nice relaxed atmosphere, which makes the perfect starting point for venturing off to edgier watering holes nearby.
