You'll see the treasure and potion bottles through the window and the lure of the velvet chairs, (we were also lucky to catch a couple having an affair on the leather sofas), plus clashing Lichtenstein style pop art and graffiti on the wall beckoned us in for a nightcap and a crepe.

It has a polished eastern European hipster feel and killer cocktails with great names. We couldn’t help but knock back a Single White Female (designed for Facebook stalkers), which we chased with a Between the Sheets.

Despite being pocket sized, it’s perfect for impressing a date. There’s plenty to eat - sharing platters yes, but never neglect the crepes: Nutella and strawberry - is a sure fire way of sealing the deal, and there's plenty of arty stuff to look at if the conversation dries up.  We found ourselves in the porno poster clad men’s bathroom, purely for the purpose of taking one for the team. Ladies, if your date spends too much time in the loo, you now know why.
