A killer cocktail is great, but sometimes nothing beats a glass (bottle right?) of champers, and The Quay has a wicked three pages of the stuff to choose from. If that doesn’t do it for you then the view sure will. Nestled in a glass bubble, The Opera House is to your left and the Harbour Bridge is to your right… exactly.

If you’ve been brought here on a date – well done you. Just remember like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, eat using cutlery from the outside in and try not to giggle at the waiter pouring the wine from above his head in a strange and elaborate manner for all to see. Food is of the highest quality and two of the puds have been on Masterchef… ooh stop it.
