Us BarChicks just love Halloween. It’s that time to dress up, look scary, look slutty, look funny, just get involved! Party with pumpkins, die your hair red, or get your inner vampire on and dish out lots of love bites. It's the only night you can get away with it.

Sure, London won't come close to New York City but hey, we're trying, here's where to go get your freak on...

East End Chop Shop at The Drunken Monkey

If trick or treating ain’t going to plan, then make your way to the Drunken Monkey for some serious Halloween party time. They’ve got a make-up artist to help get you looking the part, a photo booth for happy snaps and it’s free to get in! The Pink Pigeon rum cocktails will be happy hour prices and they’ll have some wicked DJs throughout the night. Our kinda party.

Zombie Horror Camp

These guys have thought “to hell with tradition,” so with Halloween on a Wednesday they’re celebrating for 3 days over the weekend! Under the Old Vic Tunnels you can expect some voodoo doll making, a grotesque strip club (boys you'll love it though) and a zombie run which they describe as ‘horrifying’… we’ll take their word for it. With a load of various DJ’s spinning beats until 2am this is gonna be GOOD.

Supperclub – Disco Slaughterclub

Described as Halloween’s darkest nightmare, enter through a dark door, past the gate keeper and a bath overflowing with blood and get welcomed by the disco maids and butlers who will take you through to the main hall and show you to your bed for the night. You can either hide under the sheets here praying for the nightmare to end or you can man up and take a tour around the house. With different DJs each night, great food and drink and amazing decorations this place makes for one hot Halloween.

Winterwell Presents - A Journey to Hell

On Saturday 27th October at The Loft Studios the guys behind our favourite festival Winterwell are throwing a party to be seen at in an old brick warehouse in West London, spooky. Last year was a sell out and this year looks no different. With house, electro, swing, ska, dirty blues and hip hop beats playing all night, pervasive and interactive games and a theatre with an infernal fancy dress theme of ‘What You Might Find in Hell’ this night is gonna be off the chain. The Shop NW10

For Halloween, The Shop is having a Clockwork Orange makeover and becoming the Karova Milk bar.. With a dress code of anything Stanley Kubrick… with The Shining, Space Odyssey and obv Clockwork Orange as a few of the many options things are gonna get weird up in here. Best outfit gets a prize so get thinking. Plus this is also the official pre venue for the Winterwell Halloween party at The Loft, wristbands are behind the bar!

Lost Angel

The perfect place for an epic Halloween party… With a witch on the door and DJ Col Trixta and Earl of Funk on the decks this bad boy is gonna be jumping till 3am. It’s £8 entry from 8pm and with cocktails this good and decorations that kray it’s gonna be a seriously good night.

Maggie's

This 80’s themed nightclub is getting done up as a monster mansion, and is hosted by none other than Beetlejuice… naturally. This is a fancy dress party with a retro twist, with a dress code of ‘Dead and Buried’ so drag your mum’s old motheaten garms from her loft, bloody it up a bit and get creepy. There’ll be a load of ghost girl dancers that are said to put life into your after life (boys…) toxic cocktails and some banging tunes.

The Book Club

The guys at The Book Club are going all out with this Halloween with various Halloween themed things happening for three days… dedication. First up on Monday 29th is the School of Spooky Slapstick. Expect silent horror films, even a chance to make your very own to take home… weird, but cool. There will be a pro makeup artist to turn you into some gore bloody shocker, creep props to use and a sh*t load of fake blood. Even the drinks are ideal for the blood thirsty with such concoctions as Nosferatus' Brew, a blood curdling shooter of tequila, bailey’s and tabasco and Fluffy Fell In the Blender, a sweet mix of tequila, beetroot juice, dark crème de cacao, agave syrup, apple juice and lime.

Next up is Charlie Tuesday Gates’ live DIY Taxidermy, a session in the basement on Tuesday 30th, with humorous tales of love, life and…dead pets. This girl is described as “A cross between the shopping channel and Blue Peter”… We’re in.

Last but not least is on All Hallows Eve… Bones and McGibbor’s Funeral Parlour will offer you a chance to get photos of your own funeral with their Dead Portrait Photo Booth. Pretty morbid.. You get your own casket and Victorian get up to pose with. You can also get a load of dry cocktails in and try their EDIBLE HAIR… With DJ’s and Halloween games this is gonna be quite a party.

Ben’s Canteen Halloween

If you’re South London way this Halloween and feel like eating more than dancing, this could be your kinda party. The food is based around the theme “Hell Night” with stuff like “Suicide Wings” ,“Judas it’s scary hot” sauce and a “Zombie Clothes stew”. We’re guessing it’s all gonna taste better than it sounds and you can wash it all down with Sipsmith “Swamp Water”  and some “Damned” Pumpkin Pie for pud.

Paradise

Head down to the Paradise if you’re brave enough. With a tour around Kensal Green’s cemetery followed by a special Halloween dinner. The tour kicks off at 7pm and will even show you the Catacomb which has over 2000 coffins in it dating back to the 1800’s… creepy. Tour tickets are a tenner, and you’ll get a complimentary Babishka vodka cocktail to calm those nerves of yours. If you brave the tour you get priority booking for the restaurant’s Halloween themed a la carte menu - you don’t wanna miss this - they have a pumpkin, zombie bone marrow soup!
