Ten £7 Cocktails To Try This London Cocktail Month

Wristbands at the ready - we're hitting the town!

In possession of a London Cocktail Week wristband? Then you've got yourself access to hundreds of exclusive LCW cocktails from over 250 bars across London, priced at a wallet-friendly £7. Now you just gotta work out which ones to try first. And that's where we come in...

The Naughty One: OnlyFlans at Cocktail Trading Co.

Volcan tequila | passionfruit-strawberry sorbet | vanilla-creme a la flan

Now, now - we know - there are many ways in which this naughty little thing sounds quite a bit like a pornstar, but that is absolutely not the case. Not with a name like OnlyFlans! This saucy serve is indulgent, fun and always served with a wink.

The Bittersweet One: Infinity Mirror at The Blue Bar

Amaro Santoni | Bombay Sapphire | Mango and Almond Cordial

Finding a cocktail for £7 on the menu at The Blue Bar at The Berkeley is basically unheard of... apart from in London Cocktail Week. This fruity, tropical and bittersweet cocktail brings all the aperitivo vibes - the perfect start to any night out.

The Driver-Friendly One: Evercosmo at The Mezzanine at The Stratford

Everleaf Forest | Blueberries | Raspberry & Mint Shrub | Lime Juice | Berry Powder

London Cocktail Week isn't just about the hard stuff. If you wanna mix it up a bit, the festival is playing host to plenty of non-alcoholic cocktails to enjoy (at an even more attractive price of £5 per serve with your wristband) including this juicy serve at this laid back, glamorous cocktail lounge in East London.

The Cool One: Azul Slipper Kakigōri at Kol Mezcaleria

Volcan Blanco tequila | verjus | melon liqueur | served over shaved ice

Inspired by Kakigōri, those v. cool Japanese ice cones, this playful cocktail is something pretty special. The crew at this authentic mezcaleria use a cool contraption to get those mounds of shaved ice - it's almost worth flashing your wristband just to watch the machine whirr, but you know this cocktail is so much more substance than style.

The Sustainable One: The [Roots] Sidecar at [Roots] Cocktail Bar

Rémy Martin 1738 Cognac | Morocello Locksley Distilling Co. | Lemon Curd | Fresh Lemon Juice | Citrus Dust (from wastage)

This plant-packed community cocktail bar loves their drinks to champion and be inspired by nature, so they've given this wicked 100-year-old classic cocktail a small [Roots] glow-up.

The Neighbourhood One - Crocodile at Funkidory

Eminente 3yo Cuban Rum | Gentian & Cardamom syrup | Angostura Bitters | sage leaf

This is definitely a locals bar, but if you're feeling adventurous and wanna switch up your surroundings this London Cocktail Week, Peckham's Funkidory crew will welcome you with open arms and plenty of these snappy reptilian serves.

The Old School One - Whisky Mac at Bar Americain

Singleton 12yo Whisky | Amontillado Sherry | Ginger Oleo-Saccharum

Everything about this subterranean bar hidden beneath Soho's streets screams old school elegance, from the Art-Deco touches framing the bar to the low rosewood tables packed around the opulent space. So of course they've gone old school with their LCW serve. But hey, this is a 21st Century bar, so of course, it's been given a few modern upgrades.

Raise ya hands if you feel robbed of a proper summer. HOLLA! But hey, if you want Summer vibes, Bar Swift is bringing them with their signature Sgroppinos which for Cocktail Month are coming in at a deliciously light £7. Not so fast, Autumn. We're not done, yet.

The Snack One - White Peach Sour at Tayer + Elementary

Maker’s Mark Bourbon | Fino Sherry | Dry Vermouth | White Peach

If you've been to this No.5 Best Bar in the World, you'll know that this isn't just an epic place for drinks. The food here rocks, too. So co-owners Alex & Monica are really spoiling us this LCW, cos with a wave of your wristband you can get this killer White Peach Sour for £7, and for an extra fiver, they'll throw in a next-level Pork Belly Bao. Eating is never cheating as far as we're concerned.

The Smokey One - The Pillar of Constitution at Gillray's County Hall

Laphroaig 10yo | Chambord Liqueur | Pineapple Juice | Lemon Juice

Ya know what they say: there's no smoke without Laphroaig! If you love your cocktails with bite, follow the river down to County Hall and take in the fire of this exclusive cocktail. Gillray's might be better known for its selection of over 100 gins, but they're breaking the mould this October and we're here for it.

The Bonus One - Various Serves from The Drinks Drop

Take your pick!

Just cos it's called London Cocktail Week doesn't mean you actually have to be IN London to get involved with the £7 serves. For the second year running, The Drinks Drop are bringing a pick of the £7 Signature cocktails created by a selection of London’s best bars for the month long festival. They're available for next day delivery (or same-day if you are in London – delivered by bartenders on bikes!) so you can get the LCW party going in your crib. Stock up and you can make the festival last beyond October... the ultimate hack!
