Flat Iron at The Ship

These guys are taking over The Ship in Wandsworth with an ox roast. Basically, they’re gonna be roasting a cow on a giant spit in front of six tonnes of burning oak... (A 250kg Longhorn steer to be precise). Plus it will be continually basted with Young’s London Stout before being dished out to the crowd. This baby has enough for 500 portions. Cooking commences on the Thursday night and eating begins on Easter Saturday. You can get your feast for £12 including a pint of Young’s London Stout, get involved.

Village East don’t care if Easter Egg hunts are seen as something just for kids – so they’ve arranged one for grown-ups to get involved with. Various prizes will be hidden around the restaurant, bar, lounge and the downstairs room. Each egg has a prize in it including free smoothies at The Riding House Café, pancakes at Village East, Bloody Marys, cocktail master-classes and more. The place has had a mega refurbishment so it’s the perfect time to go explore.

Ok so this one is a bit different. An Easter take on their usual Thursday Roman Empire event, diners will have a set of bunny ears on their table for them to Tweet the best selfie they can to @BungaBungaLondn, or upload a photo onto Facebook with the hashtag #IAMTHEEASTEREMPEROR. Winner will be announced at 10pm and as the ‘Ruling Roman Rabbit’ they will be upgraded to an Emperor’s throne and given a complimentary chocolate covered The Colosseum cocktail sharer for 8 mates (with Grey Goose La Poire and a bottle of Martini Prosecco). Plus they will have a bunny girl / boy butler to tend to all their needs (and feed them chocolate covered grapes). Why not?!
