London's Best Ping Pong Bars

It seems that ping pong is where the party people are at! With New York ahead of the game, London is catching on with ping pong tables and special nights popping up all over town. In fact there are 2 ping pong themed bars opening very soon.

This bar has it all: 17 tables, posh American dining (7ft wide wood-burning pizza oven!), some serious cocktails and some showers..nice. Russell Sage the guy behind The Zetter Townhouse interior (think stuffed kangaroos and sofas) has decked it out to be a stylish venue seating 130 guests in the restaurant with a huge view overlooking the playing area. If you’re wanting to have a party then get the private room with three ping pong tables, a private cocktail bar and a DJ booth…  just make sure you invite us.

The Zetter Townhouse

Not only does the downstairs games room have a ping pong table, but there’s a Nintendo Wii and a 3D TV to entertain the extra players. Upstairs have some of the best cocktails around, which have been created by the legendary Tony C and the food has been designed by Michelin star neighbour Bruno. All in all the best rainy day fun we can think of….

The Book Club

If you’re hot sh*t and want to show it then head down to The Book Club for their “King Pong Slam Jam” that‘s held every Tuesday from 7pm. It’s doubles only so bring a date or mate and the winner gets a bar tab! Entry is £2 per person.

The Doodle Bar

If your artistic talent fails you and you wanna get your game on, you’ll find the table outside the bar. It’s opposite the tables of drinkers so you can flex some talent if you’re out to impress. We love it here: the drinks are cheap and the food is done by Street Kitchen!

33 Parkgate Road, London, SW11 4NP

The Rich Mix

This is where you want to come to meet the ping pong lovers of London for the bi-monthly pongathon. They have headbands, wristbands and t-shirt merchandise for sale, wall to wall ping pong tables, DJ’s and visual art. Book your table in advance - ping pong just got serious.

Wiltons Music Hall

Even though you’ve missed the ping pong tournament for this year, there is sometimes a ping pong table set up in the Green Room upstairs. Grab a drink from the Mahogany Bar and get playing. Check in advance as the table is sometimes moved for events….

The Parlour

If you need to let off some steam after a hard days hustle then head to the Parlour with a pal for some ping pong fun. The table is out the front and they supply you with balls and bats so no need to bring your own. They also do great food and seasonal cocktails for half time refreshments.

Ping Tron

Ping pong’s been taken to a whole new level! You play in a custom made pitch black box and the only things you can see are the edge of the table, the balls, bats and net which are all painted in UV…. a must for ping pong fans and ravers alike! With a residency at the new and improved Westbourne studios Ping Tron is here to stay. Also under the same roof is a cinema, a sick sounds system and that naughty DJ Seb Fontaine is in charge of the parties. The drinks menu is from some ex-Home House Dudes and it closes at 3.30am giving it one of the latest licences in West London.

Veranda Bar and Restaurant

These guys pull out all the stops every Monday with a free ping pong tournament and the winner gets a free bottle of Moet! If that isn’t entertaining enough they also have Dominos, Monopoly and Connect Four - it’s like Christmas every day. The bar serves beer, wine and cocktails whilst the staff make free food for the players and play sweet reggae tunes. Gotta love Brixton.
