London might not be New York City but either get on a plane, or get over it; dress up, look scary, look slutty, look funny, just get involved.

Saturday 25th October: Dark Circus Party, Bourne & Hollingsworth

A blowout Halloween special, albeit one week early, Bourne and Hollingsworth will be pulling out all the tricks for an evening of macabre thrills and fiendish frolics. Those who simply cannot wait to slap on the face paint, an abandoned circus awaits you. Performances from the notorious Torture Garden promise to keep things kinky. Fancy dress compulsory.

Sunday 26th October: Devilish Dog Walk, The Spaniards Inn

Dogs love Halloween too. Don’t miss out on this chance to dress you dog up as a dragon… in the name of charity, of course. Kicking off at 10.30am at Hampstead’s most historic pub, this is your chance to monstrify your mongrel, witch your bitch up or turn that Golden Retriever into a ghoulish ghost.

Thursday 30th October – Saturday 1st November: Halloween Raveyard, The Vaults

A Halloween themed rave in the subterranean Vaults near Waterloo, the party aims to recreate the venue's grizzly history as a makeshift morgue for London's corpses, before they were transported to Brookwood Cemetery in Surrey on the London Necropolis Railway. Grimmer than grim.

What’s creepier than Halloween on Brick Lane? Halloween in a hot tub on Brick Lane. What’s creepier than that? Halloween in a blood-soaked hot tub on Brick Lane... We can’t even imagine what would make you want to get involved with this sort of nastiness but for those of you that do: watch Scream while waist deep in hot-tub water with people you may or may-not know, in a disused train station in Shoreditch.

There’s always something spectacular to be seen here so expect Halloween to be no different. Friday 31st October: Hula-Ween, Trader Vic’s

A legendary joint for cocktail nerds, expect Hula-Ween at Trader Vic’s to be all about the rum. With cocktails fittingly entitled Zombie (light and dark rum, grenadine, Curaçao) and Samoan Fog Cutter (rum, gin, brandy, sherry wine with orange juice and orgeat) on the cards, you know this one’s going to get spooky.

Friday 31st October: El Dia De Los Muertos, Coya

Putting a twist on traditional South American Halloween festivities; Coya will be transformed into Central London’s most ‘exclusive’ graveyard by world class production team, Atom Events.  Beats from house legend DJ Sasha will keep you dancing and drink the 'kiss of death' shot upon arrival, creepy for all the wrong reasons.

The Booking Office at The Renaissance Hotel is one of BarChick’s favourites. Hit this cathedral-like, vaulted building for an evening of cocktails based around Victorian apothecary. DJ Philly, who has rocked the dance floors at parties for P Diddy, Prince and Johnny Depp, will be keeping Gothic Gathering guests on the dance floor until the early hours.

Held at a rambling and atmospheric old brick warehouse in West London, Winterwell’s legendary Halloween party has been running for seven years.
