Forget Crufts, this is the real deal, so for all you dog lovers out there, ink it in your diary now. If you think it’s absurd that your dah-ling Chihuahua wasn’t cast in Legally Blonde, your St Bernard wasn’t Beethoven, your terrier wasn’t performing tricks in the Artist and your Dalmatian didn’t make the Cruella cut, now is the time to get your own back at their annual awards.
Nerves will be rife as dogs from all walks of lift battle it out in front of a panel of celebrity judges including Corrie’s Michelle Collins and Peter Egan from Downton Abbey for highly acclaimed titles like ‘Miss Hampstead’, ‘Best Dog/Owner Lookalike’ and ‘Golden Oldie’. If they don’t put their best foot forward then reconciliation comes in the form of their super special doggie wash and delectable treats, and for owners there’ll be an alfresco pop up bar serving Pimm’s amongst other concoctions and a delicious BBQ.
Spaniards Road, London, NW3 7JJ // Entry is £5 per dog and all proceeds go to the All Dogs Matter charity.
