The roof is on FIRE. Not literally, of course. We just mean that these roof terraces are the place to be when the sun shines & you wanna appreciate London in all her epic glory.
This awesome rooftop has had more transformations than Taylor Swift. When you visit the theme could be anything from Emerland City to Las Mexicanas; Lost Vegas to a Viking beer hall. Last summer they were vibin' with a California Dreaming aesthetic - love it. Expect all fiesta and no siesta, with cocktails, street food & banging views. On sunny days this is where the Shoreditch party's at.
Open Fri, Sat & Sun. Head to their website to book: www.queenofhoxton.com 1-5 Curtain Road, London, EC2A 3JX
Okay so Frank's might be closed still (the countdown is on), but forget that pink car-park photo op for a moment & remember that the awesome Bussey Building is just round the corner & it's roof terrace is blinding. You'll have to climb what feels like a thousand flights of stairs but it's worth it for the 360 view. The tables on the left are where the sights north of the river are at, and the skyline's beautiful, plus it's a summery oasis right now. Count us in.

Make sure you wear something sparkly here - not only will you fit in with the glam crowd, but it’ll distract from the uncontrollable “OMFG!” reaction you’ll involuntarily experience when you see the 180-degree view after months of being cooped inside. From sunrise to sunset, you and your crew can enjoy the changing views of capital stretching from the Shard and St Paul’s downstream, to the London Eye and Big Ben in the West. Seriously sexy.

This is the perfect place to drag out a lunch meeting. Expect epic views and be warned, it’s easy to do some damage to your credit card and your liver here. It's pretty green for a city space as well, so if the park's too rammed this'll do nicely. If you go midweek you’ll be mingling with cigar drinking business people on Dom P - but everyone’s in a good mood on a roof terrace, so just enjoy.

Better get working on your cardio, cos this place is several storeys up and there's no lift. But it's worth it for the killer cocktails and epic view at the top. Setting itself apart from other rooftop bars, Elba (named after the island that Napoleon was exiled to - makes sense when you remember this place is in Waterloo...) serves some of the best frozé in London. They've also got a banging bottomless brunch, rooftop movies, sunset sessions, picnics on the roof... we might just spend our whole summer here TBH.
