Fancy a street party with a touch of class? This boozy summer fete of sorts is set to liven up the inner-city with scenes you’d more likely associate with the French Riviera. The 3 Crowns Wine Fair will feature specially selected wine merchants, food from head chef Lee Urch, live music and carnival games. Brunswick Place, just outside the pub, will be closed off to traffic and grass turf means you can kick back like you’re schmoozing in the countryside of Cannes, darling.
Grab your glass for a fiver and top up wine at each of the pit stops. Expect boutique traders such as local business owners Luca Dusi and Federico Bruscetta from Passione Vino as well as wines rarely sold in the mainstream market. That’s not to say that some of the big guns won’t be in attendance though; will be there with their array of wines from vineyards around the world with a particular focus on those that use traditional and ancestral methods of viticulture - making wine in harmony with nature, adorable.
