Bringing some sunshine to the Bloody Mary
BarChick owes a lot to the Bloody Mary, it has helped us through some tough times. And this summer our favourite hangover cure is getting a little seasonal makeover, in the form of the Sunshine Mary, and we are ALL over it. This jazzed up Bloody Mary has been created by Alex Kammerling, the London creator of Kamm & Sons ginseng spirit. For those of you who haven’t yet got your hands on, or lips round, some Kamm & Sons, let us fill y’all in:
It contains four types of ginseng along with fresh grapefruit peels and manuka honey. There are 45 natural botanicals in total, including juniper, echinacea, ginkgo biloba and goji berries. Anything with this many herbs in it has to be good for you right?! AND it’s alcoholic. Winner.
It’s got a ginseng base – this cheeky herb is recognized as helping the body deal with a heavy head from late nights, as it helps the liver metabolize alcohol from the blood‐stream more efficiently. So this Sunshine Mary is all rumoured to revive any jaded heads and struggling livers… we say bring it. The only thing it can’t do is bring back your memory, but we all know some things are best left unknown.
Hangover, what hangover?
