The House of Peroni

SO LAST YEAR.... this is the old House of Peroni, to see what's happening now (including floating Negroni bars and cocktails hidden in flower pots) check THIS out.

The House of Peroni Residency is back on Brick Lane this autumn and it’s all about ‘a life lived inside’ as summer has swiftly locked itself away. Don’t panic. Maybe your flat isn’t exactly a trove of treasures, but Peroni Nastro Azzurro’s replica of an Italian home is intent on delivering to you a domestic kind of decadence.

You can navigate your way through a bustling kitchen, an airy laundry and an indoor terrace, the outside world may no longer feel like an actual thing. You'll have more fun in this one anyway.

Wander along Brick Lane and look out for the rows of doors to get in here.  On the ground floor follow your nose to the 'La Cucina' (Italian for kitchen) where apperitivo, pizza and beers will be sprawled out on long sharer tables. Sweet. Here for the cocktails? Get out on the La Terrazzo (heated terrace) or go hang with the laundry lines in the La Lavanderia.  Whatever you do look for the gent with slicked back hair and glinty eyes: that will be Simone Caporale.  He's one of the legends from The Artesian and is the man behind the Peroni Nastro-Azzurro-infused cocktails.

Want to take things up a level? You can purchase keys to unlock other exclusive rooms that are hiding secret experiences as well signature killer cocktails to enhance it all. Natch.  If you're going all out book in to the 3rd level where a feisty Italian couple are serving up a Michelin Starred 6 course meal for £65.

The team behind this House of Peroni Residency is just as good as last time around: Michelin-starred Sicilian chef Accursio Craparo is back in the kitchen fixing up Sicilian-inspired aperitivos, Francesca Signori will be texturizing space with origami light installations and sugar-spun objects and Rhea Thierstein will be the woman to thank for the multi-sensory surrealist sets that you’ll be able to explore. They've also teamed up with the kings of experiential, Gingerline, to bring all kinds of weird and wonderful interactive fun in to the house.

Included in the multi-sensory experience is drinking as it is - a totally appropriate time-honoured indoor activity that puts most others to shame - so stick to tradition and get involved.

We’ll see you there!
