Oslo

An old railway station built in the 1870s and used as a ticketing office in WW2 has been transformed into a hub of hotness in East London. You may not venture to this exact part of town on the regular, but with Broadway Market and Dalston minutes away you’ve now got a legitimate reason to. Hello, Hackney Central.

As the only part of the original train station still standing you won’t struggle to reach Oslo, put one foot out of Hackney Central station and you’re at the party. Being locals themselves the guys behind this venture are all about giving love to the homies, think locally sourced food, craft beers and talent.

Brooklyn warehouse vibes are on the cards here, low hanging steel lamps, an elaborate back bar and free standing benches. Head upstairs for an additional two bars and a thumping sound system…it reminds BarChick of Fabric back in the day. Hit it for lunch, dinner, drinks and dancing… we’ll see you there.
