Oh how BarChick loves a double entendre; a sick little bar masquerading as an antique shop on a stunning side street, not far from Istiklal. It’s some kinda perfection.

A former workshop, the bare brick walls are covered in birdcages and other paraphernalia (all for sale, if you’re asking) - these guys have nailed the eccentric hipster thang. With suitably attired drinkers in attendance and some of the friendliest bartenders around, you’ll want to play it cool by sticking to beer and wine or their own house tipple Desperate house wine, bottled on the small Aegean island of Bozcaada.

This place has got your back. Set over two floors with a mezzanine level above, there are cushions outside where smokers can perch and a wood-burning oven out the back for all your pizza needs - delish.
