Refuelling of a different kind at this ex mechanics workshop

When it comes to destination bars, this ex-motorbike & car mechanic’s workshop is The One. Unique interiors, vintage leather sofas and roughly painted black walls make it the pit-stop you gotta make when you're in Milan.

Officina has been sitting strong on the 100 Best Bars list since 2020 and that probably has something to do with the killer drinks list put together by rockstar head bartender France Rainteau who used to be found kicking-ass at bars including Candelaria and Glass in her native France before she hopped the border to Milan to take the helm here. Each of the venue's separate rooms, from the lounge to the bar and out onto the alfresco terrace has its own drinks menu, and they're all changed up on the reg with the help of the creative laboratory team who keep sustainability as their driving force.

Running on empty? Seasonal Italian produce is the name of the game in the kitchen, and the vibrant Sunday brunch menu is as iconic as the city's rep for fashion, with classic and continental cuisine complemented by buffet options, carpaccio dishes and desserts.
