This off-the-beaten track beach bar provides escapism from the Lindsey Lohan yacht scene; if you’re looking to spray magnums you’d better head elsewhere.  Get down early (or book) to bag yourself a canopied daybed where you can sip Palomas in peace. Bare-foot waiters pad about the sand and will keep you well hydrated all day.   

If you’re lucky enough to get a table at lunch, cool down under the reed thatched roof and kick back against white-washed walls and feast on chargrilled calamari and tomatoes redder than yesterday’s sunburn.
