This is what cocktail bars are all about, and having kept it in the family since opening, not much has changed at Boadas. Step through the wooden doors (are those windows misted or is it steamy inside?) back in time to the 30’s. The walls are overflowing with old photographs of various generations and the stars of that time. Behind the bar is a mural of exactly how you would imagine the place in its heyday: scene is set.

Boadas has no menu, but rest assured your drink will rock. These bartenders, all slick and professional in their jackets ‘n ties know their spirits, and they will make you a drink to your taste, even with the language barrier. Each bartender has incredible skills, pouring drinks from great heights; you don’t care if they are just showing off. It’s quality not quantity here, which is evident in the tiny sized martini glasses. This place is perfect for anyone: you’d get serious brownie points from a date, you can bring the mum and dad, and even BarChick’s Nan would love it.
