BARCHICK SAYS

When you think Spain you think tapas. When you think where to go for tapas you think “Errrr”. Well we’ve got you one joint that mixes tapas with bar like butter and marmite - perfect and not too complicated. This is a relatively new spot to hit in the Borne area of town and mixes classic tapas style layout with modern décor - the outside could even be mistaken for a misplaced surf-shack. The kitchen is open plan and thank the Lord this place had a menu so we weren’t peering at undistinguishable objects marinated in tomato sauce with unpronounceable names.

On the drinks side of things they do wines by the glass and Spanish beers –Mahou/ Alhambra and homemade vermouth. It’s the perfect place to take it easy in at the weekend. Eat tapas like you haven't had lunch (you did) and drink vino like you’re on holiday (you are).

It’s uncomplicated and we dig it.
