Torres is perfect for some more mature wining and dining. It’s a pretty new place which doesn’t come cheap, but with such delicious wine and incredible food, it’s hardly surprising.

This place is full of wine bottles from the floor right up to the never ending ceiling, where some crazy mirror makes the wall of wine seem endless, plus if you are a fan of the borrowers you will love the giant bottle by the door, cue photo opportunity. The decor is classy and simplistic, and there are bag hooks at the bar - always a plus in this town where pick pockets are rife!

Food here is great, whatever you order, especially if you and your date both dig garlic! Hit the wine list, which is predominately new world and sorted by taste, oh and the screens behind the bar play weird videos about families on vineyards and how to make wine, so you’re learning as well as enjoying yourself... we think?
