Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, descend down the Campari poster clad walls, and you’ll enter the big bar area. Milano and all its red velvet have been here for years, and these dudes are masters at making cocktails. Definitely better and busier by night, they are also open for three hours at lunchtime for those BarChick types, who don’t care what time of day it is and just want a good drink. Jazz and blues are on the stereo, unless you are lucky enough to see some of their live music, which is usually on between 8.30pm - 10pm.

The barmen are old school, all dressed up in their white blazers and bow ties. Making a flawless drink is what they live for; and few drinks requests would faze these dudes (BarChick challenged them and lost!). They have a rule here that proportions aren’t measured, so find the right guy, and you could get a very healthy drink!

The Spanish tapas nibbles on the bar are great, and even better they are free. YES!
