Not only that, but it's also home to The St. George's Cricket Club Beirut (AKA the English cricket team of Lebanon)! Probably best to get down with the cricket chat if you wanna make friends.

Drawing in the friendly ex-pat crowd, mainly journalists or smugglers, it's one for the regulars, reminding us that, even abroad the British still yearn for warm beer, fish and chips, Saturday afternoon football and their regular stool at the bar. Sorted.
