Located opposite one of Brighton’s most beautiful buildings, the Town Hall, you’ll find Plateau. First and foremost this place is a restaurant, but they won’t take badly to you rocking up and going straight for the bar, in fact they encourage it.

The décor is French in style and beautiful blue and green stained glass windows cast a certain ambiance. Check out the equally inspired wine list, it took BarChick back to a hot date she went on in the heart of the Marais in Paris. The specials on the chalkboard are coupled with a list of their top tunes, touché.

The cocktail menu is like no other, with wild creations, the finest ingredients, homemade syrups, fresh lime and lemon juice. If you don’t fancy a cocktail the guys will recommend a great glass of wine, tell them what you and they’ll do it right. You can come here any time for a drink but we suggest getting here early evening to make the most of it all.
