Fogas Ház translated literally means ‘Tooth house,’ and is named after the dental laboratory that this place once was in the fifties. The whole concept kinda gives BarChick the heebs but whatevs, look out for the sign with a cheesy grin on it and down a few shots to help with the pre-dentist nerves.

This is the place to P-A-R-T-Y. In the summer the courtyard is a buzzing kert (garden) but the reclining roof (hello) enables the rave to carry on all year round. The Hungarians love a dance so expect to throw some inexcusable shapes till the early hours. This place is dark, naughty and full of interesting locals.

If you need a breather then grab a cheap drink (stick to beer or spirits) and have a nose around the multi-purpose rooms to gaze at art, play ping pong or sit on the creepy hospital furniture, a notion too horrible for words in our opinion, but whatever you’re into.
