Kiosk

BARCHICK SAYS

With views of Elisabeth Bridge, the Buda Castle and Gellert Hill, Kiosk is a good place to settle in for an afternoon sesh. It’s big enough for all your mates thanks to its crumbling warehouse vibes and the menu will satisfy even the fussiest of friends.

The huge round wooden tables (once used for winding cables in a previous life) are surrounded by cosy banquette seating, or there are sofas for kicking back in front of old school films projected on the crumbling wall. The impressive wine rack belongs to the restaurant next door, but there’s more than enough bottles behind (and around) the blue lit bar to keep you entertained.

There’s an interesting Hungarian cocktail selection on offer like the Apfel Strudel with pálinka, rum, caramelised apple, sherry, angostura bitters and Allspice, or stick to the classics if you’re feeling cautious. Don’t miss out on the corn flake fish and chip bites, which will keep you standing when the DJ gets the party started.
