This elegant wine bar is full of the most immaculately dressed Danish, who fit in perfectly with the chic surroundings. In typical Scandi-style, it’s still cosy though and you could happily work your way through the epic wine list here.

The front room is a bottle shop, as well as bar with a couple of high tables. This leads into a living room style space, with books on the shelves and empty bottles of particularly impressive years. In the back is a private dining room, for special occasions.

The staff really know their wine, and you can try a few before you commit. The focus is on biodynamic wines from small producers, though we loved their supersize bottles of house wine, showing quite how much vino these people get through. They have wine tastings every Wednesday night for the committed.

In a country that sticks to strict dinner times, this is one of the few places you can eat all day, and eat damn well. The tapas is pricey, but the ingredients are the highest quality. Try the salmon, it’s dreamy.

They have a cluster of tables by the water and in summer the yellow striped deck chairs looking over the boats will fool you into thinking you're on a Scandinavia Rivera.
