BARCHICK SAYS

They’ve got a thing for Wu-Tang Clan and obscure photos, which makes for an odd combination, and we like it. Somewhere between an old fashioned Danish café and something far cooler, this bar/restaurant can pretty much deliver whatever you want from it, without breaking the bank.

Located out of the main hub of action in Norrebro, it’s a local joint with plenty of regulars, which gives it an instantly friendly vibe. Grab a coffee, lunch, afternoon beer or a damn tasty dinner, and then hang around until the early hours drinking your way through the beer menu. The food is top notch with a Nordic edge and largely organic ingredients, though nothing fancy pants.

In a former Laundromat space, there are two high-ceilinged rooms, one full of wooden tables occupied by diners in the evening, and the other the bar space, where you can eat on the high stools or just chat to the friendly gang here. Make sure you check out the photos on the wall: some toy soldiers conquering a giant nipple, a geriatric DJ and other such oddities.
