The Missoni Bar

BARCHICK SAYS

Who doesn’t love a bit of Missoni? Well they like it so much up here that they have got a whole hotel dedicated to it, and we loved it so much we just had to get a room. The bar was our first port of call, and it was pretty difficult to leave, warning, if you’re hung over all those prints can be pretty dizzying, kinda like a Magic Eye effect.

From the benches and the chairs to the menus and the pillows, every inch of this place is decked out in the beautiful infamous fabric. Take a high seat at the beautiful curvy red and chrome bar and take in your surroundings. Huge big vases sit on the bar, an enchanting series of multi coloured moon photographs line one wall and amazing spaceship style lights hang above the bar.

This is the perfect place to come for a chilled bottle of prosecco, a perfect morning coffee or a couple of cocktails, either way you will be perfectly happy. The cocktail menu is split into Moderno, Classico, La Gamiglia or Innocente (don’t be boring) and the barmen are more than capable of mixing up whatever you feel like, oh and hit the sharing jugs, but be careful, we left with some rather pricy Missoni dressing gowns.
