It's the most famous, luxurious department store in the world, so you can bet its bar is just as OTT. In partnership with fine crystal maker Baccarat, the team have fused glamour with craftsmanship. You might wanna pick your jaw off the monochrome marble flooring as you walk in: the show-stopping scarlet bar takes centre stage, glitzy crystal chandeliers illuminate the interiors, and the architectural, leather-accented banquettes are just the place to buckle in for some serious cocktails.

Speaking of, Baccarat's latest menu is called Metamorphosis, and it's all about taking core ingredients and transforming them into bold flavours using high-flying techniques like ultrasonic extraction, clarification and fermentation. Bar manager Michal Maziarz and his crew have created 16 epic serves that'll get you jazzed, whether you're up for some hardcore boozy geekery or you're just in it for easy drinking. Our picks? The Roasted Barley Martini, a round, malty riff on the classic; Full Circle, a Margarita twist that gets a smoky hit from mezcal vinegar; and Grounded, a clarified milk punch with a savoury side thanks to mushrooms and capers (trust us, it works). They've also got four non-alcoholic cocktails that are genuinely delicious (we should know - we tried all of 'em!). Naturally, every drink comes in stunning Baccarat crystal glassware. Just don't knock it over, yeah?

The bar has its own separate entrance on Hans Crescent but can also be accessed on the lower ground floor of Harrods, so we say take the scenic route for some shopping eye candy. A visit to Baccarat Bar is an occasion, after all...
