On a very fine Regency Square opposite the sea, this eccentric little hotel is home to the type of bar you'll want to get lost in. Don’t let the buzzer put you off; ring the bell and you’ll be more than well greeted, and then transported into another world of misshapen frames, mental wallpaper and generally out-there décor. The closest comparison we can find is a less scary version of the waiting room from Beetlejuice. Are you with us?

The cocktails are what you make of them – exciting takes on classics. The menu is ripe with innuendo; make what you will of the Dirty F*ckin Rotter and the Fur Coat No Knickers. If you want a more intimate setting to drink, ask for a table in the red velvet boudoir and enjoy your cocktails in a private room complete with a disco ball, or hit the Singstar Room for some karaoke.

The hotel has 19 bedrooms, each with their own unique style. Hotel Pelirocco says, “We’ve made your bed, you better lie in it.” Which isn’t a bad idea after a few of their killer Del Boy cocktails. Oh, and they have very naughty loos – see for yourself!
