Located in the centre of Ibiza Town, Hostal Parque is so much more than its name suggests. Yes, there are a good number of guest bedrooms here, none of which we’d describe as ‘hostal’ standard, but whatevs. This place is more like an accessible, inexpensive boutique hotel and we love it. One of the few places serving up a decent breakfast, BarChick’s dad won’t eat bacon from anywhere else on the island.
If you’re trying to lie low for whatever reason then this is not the place for you. People watching from the terrace in one of the high back, black wicker chairs, you are almost guaranteed to see, and be seen by someone you know. For better for worse, this is the penultimate Ibiza meeting place. Serving up chilled wines and beer as well as a small selection of cocktails BarChick sometimes hangs here all day, using the (excellent) wifi and making friends.
