If you’re looking for authentic tapas and a cocktail then look no further than La Bodega. You’ll find it at the foot of the old town drawbridge, not far from the Old Market. There’s a cocktail list but be sure to see if they have any specials as they usually rock. When we visited the cocktail of the day was a fresh Watermelon Martini and we're still grateful to the owner for insisting we try it. The Espresso Martini was as good as promised and kept BarChick going longer than she should have that night.

Frozen cocktails make this the perfect place to come and chill out, day or night. tapas is all pretty old school and really good – from delicious whitebait fillets in vinegar to mini chorizo sausages and even black pudding if you're feeling up to it. Oh and the pimientos padrones are really spicy, as they should be.
