Located in the port of the old town, this is somewhere to go if you’re working to a budget. Clamber up the dark staircase, lined with posters advertising the week’s club nights and find yourself in what might be the world’s smallest restaurant. Spanish run, it’s frantic and all hands on deck, think home cooking, with a seriously meaty edge and a tonne of booze. Genius.
When it comes to value for money Los Pasajeros cannot be beaten, BarChick feels like a baller every time she comes here, and that’s all with only a tenner in pocket. Not really a ‘bevs only’ kinda experience but more of a ‘three-courses plus vino for the same price you’d expect to pay for a couple of Mojitos’ sorta thing.
You can’t book and there will be a queue, make the most of it and mingle, it’s a great place to make friends. We love the atmosphere here it’s explosive; locals gather to gear up for a big night, or gear down from one, or both, it’s hard to tell. Stick to wine, beer or Hierbas, we’re not even sure if they sell soft drinks. Every time someone orders shots the background music (techno, obvs) is pumped up to 11; get involved with the boozy boogie as the whole restaurant woop and fist-pump like they never left the club, awesome. Dinner is served!
